Courtney brings 17 years of mental health experience to help leaders and organizations unlock their full potential. As a former Managing Director of Behavioral Health Services who led over 100 staff members across multiple divisions, she knows how to drive innovation, improve retention, and create meaningful change in complex environments.
Leadership That Makes a Difference
Courtney has managed multi-site operations, advanced specialized service lines, and championed Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives focused on cultural competence and inclusive practices. She created and expanded training programs that improved staff retention and developed emerging leaders—experience that translates directly into helping organizations build strong leadership pipelines and retain top talent. Her work co-creating the Leadership Training Academy earned national recognition and demonstrated her ability to design scalable solutions that drive measurable results.
Empowering People and Organizations
In 2024, Courtney co-founded Phoenix Rise Consulting with Erin Saylor, LCSW, combining clinical expertise with organizational development. She works with executives, department heads, emerging leaders, and mid-level managers—helping them develop strategic leadership skills, strengthen team dynamics, and build cultures where people and organizations thrive.
A graduate of Smith College School for Social Work and Trinity College, Courtney also maintains a thriving private practice providing individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents and adults.
Courtney’s leadership and consulting expertise are also reflected in her work co-creating the Leadership Training Academy (LTA). Designed to enhance staff retention and develop the next generation of leaders, LTA has been presented at national conferences, including Social Current’s Spark National Conference (2022) and the National Association of Children’s Behavioral Health National Conference (2022). In addition to her consulting work, Courtney operates a thriving private practice, where she provides individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents and adults. Her approach is collaborative, helping clients build resilience and self-awareness as they navigate personal growth.
When not transforming organizations or guiding clients, Courtney is a devoted wife and mother to her 11-year-old son and an energetic 4-year-old dog. She’s also a musician, performing in two original bands where she expresses her creativity through singing, songwriting, and playing guitar and piano.
