Erin Saylor, MSW, LCSW

Erin Saylor, MSW, LCSW, is a dynamic force in the behavioral health industry, renowned for her 20-year journey as a Mental Health Therapist and innovative leader. A proud alumna of the University of Connecticut (MSW, 2005) and Old Dominion University (B.S. in Human Services, 2001), Erin's dedication to advancing mental health care and leadership is unwavering.

Throughout her illustrious career, Erin has held pivotal roles in nonprofit organizations, culminating in her tenure as Chief Operating Officer at a leading agency. Her expertise spans coordinating Evidence-Based Practices, managing multiple programs, and driving impactful quality improvement initiatives. Notably, she spearheaded a three-year project to integrate interdisciplinary collaboration, enhancing mental health and medical services, and eliminating barriers to community care.

In 2024, Erin, alongside Courtney Seely, LCSW, co-founded Phoenix Rise Consulting. As Principal Consultant and Co-Founder, Erin offers businesses unparalleled guidance in leadership development, program implementation, and staff training. Phoenix Rise Consulting’s mission is to empower organizational leaders in the behavioral health sector and beyond, fostering environments of growth and excellence.

Erin also owns a thriving private practice, providing individual, group, and family therapy to teens and adults. Her work is driven by a passion for implementing evidence-based practices, as demonstrated through her leadership in initiatives like Functional Family Therapy, Child First, and Multi-dimensional Family Therapy.

Previously, Erin’s tenure at a leading nonprofit agency in southeastern Connecticut saw her overseeing clinical operations across a spectrum of services, including outpatient mental health clinics, in-home services, school-based health centers, and early childhood development centers. Her leadership was instrumental in the successful launch of Connecticut’s inaugural Urgent Crisis Center for children. Her out-of-the-box approach sees no barrier too great to overcome, which resulted in cost savings, improved morale, and innovation during very challenging economic times.

A fervent advocate for leadership development, Erin co-created a Leadership Training Academy with Ms. Seely in 2021, aimed at improving staff retention and nurturing future leaders, which they have had the opportunity to present on at two national conferences. Her work has led to co-authoring several regional, state, and federal grants, significantly expanding service offerings and program growth.

Beyond her professional achievements, Erin finds joy in her role as a devoted mother to her daughter, son, and six beloved pets. She thrives in the outdoors, coaching her kids' soccer teams, hiking, and creating cherished family memories filled with laughter.

Erin is deeply committed to helping individuals, businesses, and communities transform so they may achieve their greatest potential. She hopes her guidance can encourage leaders to have the courage to lean into relationships and challenges with openness that inspires innovation and unlocks unimaginable potential.
